10:00AM Cooking with Chef Andre CANCELLED - Want to learn how to “cook Grenadian?” Why not join Chef Andre Bernard of Dre Flavors Restaurant at the University Club beachside as he guides you through making a popular local dish – just in time for lunch! 6:00PM Alumni/Student Networking Evening 6PM to 7:30PM. Alumni and visiting physicians are invited to take part in an informal, interactive opportunity to network with 4th/5th term students, hosted by the SOM Alumni Association. The evening will start of with a panel of intros by the visiting physicians and then break out tables to engage with groups of students. The goal is to allow our students an opportunity to forge professional relationships and foster a passion for SGU that will last long after graduation. Sign up by clicking here. 9:45AM Chocolate & Shopping City Tour - A wonderful way to experience the local shopping scene in the Town of St. George! Get a taste of local chocolate making (and buy some chocolates for your friends and family), as well as all the local spices you need! The tour visits Market Square, Esplanade Mall, Art Fabrique, House of Chocolate and ends with a delightful light lunch at the Sails Restaurant overlooking the Carenage Harbor. 3:45PM Sunset Champagne Catamaran Cruise - Sip champagne and savor the beauty of the sunset as you sail off the coast of St. George’s on the Starwind. Wonderful opportunity for photo enthusiasts to capture the historic buildings situated behind the bell-shaped harbor called The Carenage. Includes drinks (beer, rum punch, rum, vodka, gin, sodas, champagne, water) and pastries (beef patties, sausage rolls, cheese straws, cake). 4:30PM to 6:30PM. $55US per person. 7:30PM Street Food at the Dodgy Dock Restaurant. A fun Grenadian and International culinary experience with food stalls (6:30-10pm), live band (8:30-10pm) and DJ (10-11pm). Reservations for seating must be made as early as 1 week in advance, or a table cannot be guaranteed. However, you don’t need to reserve a table to enjoy the experience! 6:30PM Dollar Wings Night - Thursday night is Wings Night at Coconut Beach! Fried plain or spicy, super crispy and delicious! Great DJ music. Hang out on Grand Anse Beach with new and old friends as CME week wraps up! Self-reservations are recommended to guarantee seating, but the night can be enjoyed regardless!
